This code were stamped on VW Engine case linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow you can see the turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical is the final reason of the code. |
090 Possible Causes:
090 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 090 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
