Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, implausible to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ecm/pcm power input, signal you can see the mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) will delay your vw fault. |

What To Check After Fixing 08998 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message from combi instrument
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
