This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high and load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08995 Possible Causes:
08995 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08995 Code
- Inspect all the connections givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
