This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more air cleaner inlet control, circuit low and exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range is the final reason of the code. |
08991 Possible Causes:
08991 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 08991 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
