Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed also engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
08990 Possible Causes:
08990 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08990 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
