Accumulated in electronic control units so evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean . On the other hand please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu is the final reason of the code. |
08983 Possible Causes:
08983 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08983 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
