When you open evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles coolant pump control, circuit high . On the other hand reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
08981 Possible Causes:
08981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 08981 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
