The problem is about system too lean at higher load, bank 2 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit or change exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
08977 Possible Causes:
08977 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08977 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
