The problem is about intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake cylinder 4 above knock threshold and please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu will delay your vw fault. |
08968 Possible Causes:
08968 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

- Inspect all the connections post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit
