Staring in engine powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor power supply, voltage low voltage or change throttle control: airflow at idle too low is the final reason of the code. |
08967 Possible Causes:
08967 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08967 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
