When you open please check dtc memory of transmission ecu the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08963 Possible Causes:
08963 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08963 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
