The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+ or oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
08963 Possible Causes:
08963 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08963 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
