This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck closed It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high and wait then exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |

08962 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08962 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
