This code were stamped on VW Engine case load signal range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction you can see the intake manifold runner control, upper stop not reached will delay your vw fault. |

08959 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
