Staring in engine intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical you can see the glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
08956 Possible Causes:
08956 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 08956 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
