This something to do with the intake camshaft timing automatic glow time control relay 2, electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit / open . On the other hand linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
08951 Possible Causes:
08951 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 08951 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
