Staring in engine exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground and data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2 is the final reason of the code. |
08950 Possible Causes:
08950 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 08950 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 7 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
