This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high or exhaust pressure sensor 2, high will delay your vw fault. |
08948 Possible Causes:
08948 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 08948 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
