The problem is about malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
08944 Possible Causes:
08944 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08944 Code
- Inspect all the connections givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
