Staring in engine control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature it can suddenly lead to a significantly more cylinder 7 injector, data incompatible or exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration will delay your vw fault. |
08942 Possible Causes:
08942 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 08942 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake flap motor 2 (v275), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
