The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start camshaft position signal output, circuit high also hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), upper limit exceeded is the final reason of the code. |

08936 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 08936 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544) errors in basic adjustment
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
