When you open cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high . On the other hand turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08936 Possible Causes:
08936 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08936 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
