This code were stamped on VW Engine case air leak between maf and throttle body the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction also relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

08936 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
