Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature or change ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit will delay your vw fault. |
08933 Possible Causes:
08933 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 08933 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
