The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground also transmission control unit, incorrect coded is the final reason of the code. |
08918 Possible Causes:
08918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08918 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
