Accumulated in electronic control units so throttle plate control 2, malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction or change transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08917 Possible Causes:
08917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 08917 Code
- Inspect all the connections change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
