Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 also motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
08906 Possible Causes:
08906 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08906 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
