Diagnosing engine bar with signal for back-up lights, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), electrical malfunction and intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
08905 Possible Causes:
08905 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08905 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
