This code were stamped on VW Engine case glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reversing light, circuit short to b+ . On the other hand hydraulic pressure sensor 2 too low is the final reason of the code. |
08900 Possible Causes:
08900 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08900 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
