This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine torque reduction, open / short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low or oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |
08900 Possible Causes:
08900 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08900 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
