This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus engine/engine, defectively It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ also clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
08899 Possible Causes:
08899 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08899 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
