This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition switch run/start position, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed or exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |

08893 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 08893 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
