Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground you can see the exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08892 Possible Causes:
08892 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 08892 Code
- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
