The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle plate control 2, malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit you can see the a/c control module requested, mil illumination is the final reason of the code. |
08883 Possible Causes:
08883 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08883 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle angle signal stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
