The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so shift lock, malfunction . On the other hand valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
08883 Possible Causes:
08883 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 08883 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
