Diagnosing engine bar with fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) or change vehicle speed sensor 'b' is the final reason of the code. |
08878 Possible Causes:
08878 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08878 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
