This code were stamped on VW Engine case temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses or change internal control module: eeprom error is the final reason of the code. |
08873 Possible Causes:
08873 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 08873 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
