Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed control unit programming, programming not finished and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
08870 Possible Causes:
08870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 08870 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
