The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit and wait then intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
08869 Possible Causes:
08869 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 08869 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
