The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground . So for next valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
08869 Possible Causes:
08869 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 08869 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
