The problem is about pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. and wait then data bus powertrain, no communication is the final reason of the code. |
08864 Possible Causes:
08864 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 08864 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance
