This code were stamped on VW Engine case secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck on mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor nox sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent and wait then bank 2, system too lean off idle is the final reason of the code. |
08859 Possible Causes:
08859 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08859 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
