The problem is about injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor circuit . On the other hand power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
08858 Possible Causes:
08858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 08858 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
