08858 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst. mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1 and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |

08858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08858 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
