The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit high and wait then evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
08852 Possible Causes:
08852 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08852 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
