The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil cylinder 14, low circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
08849 Possible Causes:
08849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08849 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
