This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, stuck closed mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high or pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
08847 Possible Causes:
08847 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 08847 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
