This code were stamped on VW Engine case turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition switch accessory position, circuit or tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08846 Possible Causes:
08846 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 08846 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
