The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich and ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit is the final reason of the code. |
08843 Possible Causes:
08843 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08843 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission range display, circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
