This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 2, system too lean at idle it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to b+ and a/c request b, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
08842 Possible Causes:
08842 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08842 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of clutch ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
