08830 Possible Causes:
08830 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08830 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
