The problem is about intake air heater "a", circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground or b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08828 Possible Causes:
08828 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
