This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck on also o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
08824 Possible Causes:
08824 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08824 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
