This code were stamped on VW Engine case linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low and wait then o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich is the final reason of the code. |
08819 Possible Causes:
08819 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
