08817 Description And Summary : |

When you open reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit or diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
08817 Possible Causes:
08817 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08817 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
