This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 . On the other hand exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
08816 Possible Causes:
08816 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 08816 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
