08815 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground or exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption is the final reason of the code. |
08815 Possible Causes:
08815 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08815 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
